Card identification guides

Every valuation, grading decision and sale starts with knowing exactly which card you are holding. That sounds simple until you meet a base card and a parallel that differ only in the colour of a border, a reprint made to look like an old original, or a serial number stamped in foil that is easy to miss. These guides teach you to read a card the way a dealer does: the copyright line and card number on the back, the set name and year, rookie markers, parallel and refractor finishes, print runs and serial numbering, and the details that separate autograph and memorabilia cards from their base versions.
